Unter Thomas Tuchel reifte Antonio Rüdiger zum absoluten Führungsspieler. Der deutsche Nationalspieler ist aus der Chelsea-Abwehr kaum noch wegzudenken. Auch dank dem 28-jährigen haben sich die Blues zu einem der defensivstärksten Teams Europas entwickelt. Tuchel und die Klub-Bosse wollen Rüdiger halten. Doch dieser scheint anderes im Sinn zu haben. Ein Wechsel zum FC Bayern spielt dabei allen Anschein keine allzu große Rolle mehr.
Bei Chelsea gesetzt, in der DFB-Elf mit Stammplatzgarantie. Antonio Rüdiger gelang in dieser Saison das Comeback des Jahres. Unter Frank Lampard spielte der Deutsche kaum eine Rolle, unter Tuchel war ihm sein Platz in der Dreierkette links sicher. Rüdiger zahlte dem Coach das Vertrauen mit Top-Leistungen zurück. Vor Rüdigers Leistungsexplosion wollte man den Deutschen unbedingt loswerden. Nun möchte ihn die Führungsriege unbedingt halten. Das Problem: Die Verhandlungen stocken aufgrund der Gehaltsforderungen des DFB-Stars.
Rüdiger kennt seinen Wert und dieser ist mittlerweile deutlich gestiegen. Zahlreiche europäische Top-Klubs haben Rüdiger auf dem Zettel. Allen voran der FC Bayern, PSG und Real Madrid gelten als größte Interessenten an einem ablösefreien Deal.
Konkurrenz bei Bayern schreckt Rüdiger ab
Der deutsche Nationalspieler kann sich seinen nächsten Verein quasi aussuchen. Der FC Bayern hatte Rüdiger lange als Süle-Ersatz im Visier. Dem Vernehmen nach wären die FCB-Bosse durchaus gewillt Rüdiger dessen Wunschgehalt zu bezahlen, welches bei 12 Mio. Euro pro Jahr liegen soll. Aber Rüdiger scheint Abstand von einem Bayern-Wechsel zu nehmen, wie die englische “Daily Mail” berichtet. Der Grund soll die große Konkurrenz beim FC Bayern. Selbst bei einem Abgang von Niklas Süle stünden mit Dayot Upamecano, Lucas Hernandez, Tanguy Nianzou und Benjamin Pavard vier Hochkaräter im Kader, die alle einen Stammplatz im Abwehrzentrum zum Ziel haben.
Bei PSG und Real sähe die Sache anders aus. In Madrid hat mit durch die Abgänge von Varane und Ramos im letzten Sommer durchaus noch Bedarf. Bei Paris ist Marquinhos zwar gesetzt, neben ihm schwächelt Kimpembe allerdings häufiger. Sergio Ramos schlägt sich weiterhin mit Verletzungen herum. Eine finale Entscheidung steht noch aus und wird vermutlich nicht allzu schnell fallen. Rüdiger hat die Qual der Wahl.
